What's Up with The Internet Connection

The internet at home is out again for the past five days. What's up with that? I'm paying my monthly bills regularly but there is no internet connection. The bad thing about it is that I will still be charged with the same fixed monthly payment even if there is no connection for a couple of days. Some say that it is due to change of PhilCom management which is now bought by PLDT. With the change of personnel, simple repairs are not readily remedied because there are no personnel available in our city. They must contact their main branch to get people to repair minor problems. I hope that their service will improve because it is hassling their many consumers.

At Last

The internet connection is back, however slow it is now. Maybe too may people in my area really missed surfing the net because of the outage the past three days. Now, I can update my blog and do my research again.

The past three days was uneventful. The most that I did the past three days was work, work, work. Not much recreational activities. Just watched television shows, read a book or comic books when I arrive home because theirs no internet connection. And I still can't get the person that I like to go out with me (sigh). Well, I'm still hopeful. Wouldn't I sound negative if I ask her on free time and she still divert it to another subject or not reply about it.

I hope that the next few days would be nicer that the past days.

No Internet Connection at Home

Since Sunday, the DSL internet connection in our area was disabled due to a fire that ravaged 3 houses and destroyed telephone, electricity and cable television lines. The cable and electricity was already restored yesterday but sad to note, the internet connection is still down. I can only surf the internet here in the office but it's difficult because the wireless connection is erratic. Also, the time to surf the net is also limited because of all teh officework. I just hope that when I get home, the internet will be ready for use.

Internet Connection Installed

Just this past week, my internet subscription was installed. I now have more time to surf the net, chat with friends and, more importantly, to update my blog. For a long time, I've been doing researching and updating my blog from the office or from an internet cafe. Being in internet cafes is uncomfortable to me especially when I'm writing something like my blog because I have to rush everything and always keep tab on the hours spent there. Subscribing to an internet connection is also is practical for me because I spent a lot of time on the net and the amount I pay there is more than what I pay for my monthly subscription. Now, it's time to enter the electronic universe of the internet.
